New submission rules!

Since, sometimes we get heaps of submissions, and sometimes we don't get enough, and then our "reserve submissions" by the same artist are uploaded and it isn't fair...

Only send ONE deviation link in your note. When we reply to that note saying "thank you", THEN you may send your next submission.

Is that clear? So we're forgetting about the previous '1 submission a week' rule.

Also, please welcome to the mod team.

It's very fun to learn this way! Not to mention that the club owner is a native Japanese speaker. You don't see that every day! Go the experts!

Heey guys~ Long time no see! I've finally come back from hiatus, and I have some good news to share! =DeathNotefan is going to be hosting another contest for you guys. The theme and how the contest will run is currently in the works, and I will update you guys on that shortly.

Also, we have made a new policy regarding joining the club. Since the inbox is backed up once again, we're asking any deviants who would like to join to just watch the club instead of watching AND sending a note. This saves time for us admins when it comes to cleaning up the inbox. So just watch the club if you would like to join.

Before I go, DNF would like to thank for featuring =DeathNotefan in their journal. We're the oldest Death Note club on dA that is still around!

P.S. It has come to our attention that our subscription has disappeared. Sorry for the lack of awesome in our journal.

So far we've done all submissions up 'til July 2007!

You can either browse the art by the date it was added to our faves/collections by clicking here [link] (remember you can click and drag these thumbnails to fave - they're the original artists' pieces)

Or you can visit specific collections. We are creating the folders as we go (because we can't have more than one blank folder), and the ones so far are (in alphabetical order)

Remember, we've only converted up to July 2007 submissions so far! But, especially for those who've just joined us, please have a look! There aren't too many, but there are some really AMAZING pieces! I was really enjoying going through the art.

Our guidelines for collecting are:
If a pic has one or two characters, add them to the respective character categories, but if a pic has three or more characters, add them to the 'Groups' collection. So if a pic had L in it, it would be added to the 'L' collection; if it had L and Light in it, it would be added to both the 'L' collection and the 'Light' collection, and if it had L, Light and Misa in it, it would be added to the 'Groups' collection.
If a pic is a comic, it ADDITIONALLY is added to the 'Comics' collection. Same with cosplay, and the Plushies/crafts.
However, flashes ONLY get added to the 'Flash' collection, and fanfiction ONLY gets added to the 'Fanfiction' collection.


We'll let you know as we reach certain milestones in the gallery, so you can take a look. So far, =Iggyness, ~wishmakerz and =dazza1008 all have said they can spare some time to convert the gallery.

Hope you're as excited about the new way of browsing/faving the older submissions as we are! There really is some great art there!
